Twenty Decayed Alarm Clocks
These 20 decayed alarm clocks were all found in the same place, in what was left of a dilapidated house in Wisconsin. They were abandoned after the eccentric owner of these half-century old clocks passed away, leaving the house to the elements. Eventually the roof collapsed, plants took over, rain and snow having their way. Decaying over time at the same rate, for dozens of years—these clocks portray an accidental beauty that is hard to deny.
Like the clocks stopped instantly at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, each clock has time stopped or lost—to time.
